I am not going to speak about my own problems with the Syrian Government, but would rather explain and anatomize the general Troubles and dim Questions concerning the Truth of the Syrian Leadership. Let me just begin with the so called correctional Era having been declared and conducted by President Hafez Al-Assad.

Ideological Disorder throughout the Correctional Era 1970/2000 Hafez Assad did not limit the so called correctional Movement to merely Torturing, Blackmailing, subjecting the People and raping their Yes. For such confinement would not alone help justifying his Dictation and Tyranny. So he provided his Movement with an ideological Coverage. Quotations consisting of propagated high national Values, whose implementation and Achievement far away from being realistic, seem to have found a cozy Recourse in some German Philosophical Concepts of Being (Das Sein), whose Essence (or Entity) is always going to be, but never become (Das endloss und immer Werdende). In that Way the high values he claims to have been guiding the Nation to, are always sought, but never finally achieved, making of his Leadership an eternal presidency.
For many this might sound little Nietzschean, but in fact it is a claimed Ba’athistic socialism. It differs from Nietzsche substantially, for the Nietzschean Liberal (or Superman) adopts Values to adapt himself to some new social and natural Circumstances. So the Nietzschean Change is not the Goal in itself. On the other Hand, there are (for Nietzsche and the Liberals in General) no Fix Values, things that are essential to the Ba’athistic Assad (fixed high national Arabic Values).
Some of the Propagated Goals based on that Values are: A Strategic Balance that would mysteriously enable defeating the USA and Israel (So Syria with its 5 Milliard US Dollars Budget had been demanding that much). In that Way, every Economic Failure had been reduced to the propagated Policy of Resistance and Containment, and every Result became postponed until the Master of none reaches his holy Arabic Goal. In Fact, under Assad (without Egypt) Syria has never harmed Israel. When Israel invaded Lebanon 1982, Assad sent his old fashioned Mig 21/23 to face the USA and Israel. The Mig 25 did not take part in the War (hide your white Penny to a black Day .IOI. Cool).
Every Plain that took off, never returned up to date. Our Soldiers told; they were under Israeli and American Fire, but were not allowed to counter attack, for the Assad Leadership declared a Ceasefire. So those who provided a Fire Coverage for their abasing Withdrawal were punished later. A Big Farce was the Battle of 1982, but Assad’s Army went back Home triumphing the Withdrawal of the Israelis, claiming that it was Assad who made America and Israel leave (ioioio). No one dared to demand an Investigation about why Soldiers were left in the Mountains, without even Food Supplies. At the End, Assad appeared swimming on his Fans Shoulders, winging and raising victory painting Fingers.
Every opposing or even criticizing Person was heavily tortured if not killed. On this Axis, Assad reincarnated the strong Stalin, who always killed every No saying, considering him as a Traitor (Yeah). Supposing that Assad was ideologically a Ba’athist, we should ask next what are the possible differences between Ba’athism and Assad? Is it the Difference between Theory and Praxis? Or is it a dualism forming some Reciprocity Ideas<==>Deeds? Neither this nor that for Sure. Before 1970, the Ba’athism was factually the ruling Power (In according to a Survey I made days ago). Under Assad, the Ba’athists became a subordination . The Rule became a Leadership Security Industry Chiefly. Military Police and other Security Branches became a provisional Priority, but still doing so. The Leadership bore a corrupt rather commercial Form of Ba’athism. Commercialism became a matter of Survival bearing a formal Stoic Identity. To get a Job, you must be simply a Ba’athist (that was not a secret, but a publicly announced eternal Message). Personally, I have never been a Ba’athist, but felt always sorry for those poor Ba’athists, who stood like Beggars selling their Thought for Job. Many declare that they are not real Ba’athists, but do so in order to get some Bread.
A Pin to in the Eye of every ambitious Ba’athist , but also a needle in the Throat of each Ba’athistic popinjay and Hypocrite today. It seems to be sometimes the case in some other today existing political Parties; that ideology differs sometimes from the Practice, but not to this extent for sure.
On some Levels we find some Harmony between the formal understanding of the Ba’ath, and the Practice (Leadership as a tool). How?
The Ba’ath Party is a national Socialistic Party. A great Shock for Europeans to hear the Notion NS (National Socialism), because Hitler Party was also demarcated as a national socialistic Party also. Racism was the product of the Leadership, but not necessarily the national socialistic Thought for sure. To merely say; that some other races should not be a Priority in the interior Politics, or should not be integrated in the economic Sphere of some other Nations is not a Racism in the WWII political reference sense. Racism is an inference ,hopelessly linking prioritively subordinated or underordinated Race “A”, to be a Premise of attaining or deriving a Conclusion “B” of cleansing, distinction (or what ever) as a necessary outcome, that is ought to be, or should be politically performed. Which is scientifically completely idiotic (An Is-Ought Explanandum is per consensus not deterministically or socially natured). National Socialism can turn into Racism, if driven by some certain historic Developments (Think the German Case), which would lead us to the Conclusion: the Emergence of Racism a springing from nationalism is relative and structural (Gestaltmaessig). We can’t go further in this context. So let us be back to the Relation of Assad to his own national socialistic Movement, being described by the Founders as an ant- racism and anti-imperialism. An important question is: is it merely described as such (in sense of an Is-ought conclusion), or is it in fact so?
I experiencely believe; that abstract Arabic nationalistic socialism tends to be empirically not racist. Let us next treat Spencer Law “Survival of the Fittest”, to make sure, that not only national socialistic, but also Capitalistic and even some liberalistic Principles can be inferently instrumentalized to serve some inhumane political or racist ambitions. When we perceive “Survival of the Fittest” as a matter of Description based on an objective World view, we attain natural political consequences based on Freedom and “Hand out Position”. But when we perceive “Survival of the Fittest” as a matter of Is-Ought Conclusion (which Spencer did absolutely not mean or say), we attain the Nazis and Racist Track , to act more or less within a Holocaust trajectory of anti-nature Evil.
Any Way , 100% ideological pureness can not always be achieved. Behaviorally; under the Leadership of Hafez al-assad, some racist phenomenon were fought, but some other Subracist Behaviors were tolerated: Example: In the Employment policy, Sects and Kin were somehow a Basis of Discrimination, countered by opposing religious Racists called Muslimbrotherhood Org, whose Teodiscrimination Concept was historically a political Value (that is no Amnesty for Assad of course. Because the Nonmuslimbrothers were subjected to his Screen politics also). Throughout his Correctional Era, Discrimination was funded as an Ideological (only Ba’athists had the Chance to work), and sectarian Struggle (only Relatives and their Allies were in the Government. Some sub racist Phenomena comprised a wider spectrum to include almost the entire Nation. Example: in the introductory military Training, the allowed death Quota has been and remain 5%. So if 5% die in the fresh Men Training, the School Commanders don’t get punished at all… a “Survival of the Fittest” based on an Is-ought Conclusion, being determined and restricted by law on the one Hand , and excluding the Principle of Laissez faire (Hand out) on the other. The Military Prisons don’t seem to be very different from Concentrations Camps. When I was in the military Prison of Palmyra, hundreds suffered of Tubercolosis, and some have died. Well, this Tradition has been inherited since the Greek and roman Times and even earlier, but remained tolerated under Hafez Al-assad. In the Prison, every one fires racist and insulting Verses. Words they learn from daily Life there.
Hafez Assad was the one to define Terrorism well. But fell Victim of his own Definition. He simply see in Rights the difference between Terrorism and Non Terrorism. Sadly, Our Assad has never shown any Respect to human Rights. Under his Leadership, People became arrested without any jurisprudential permission. Any Security Branch had the authority to throw any one in the prison and keep him under arrest as along as the director want. No Visitors or Advocates were allowed to come in. This Authority was misused by the security Branches. Some made big Money and gains. They served as a special Syrian Wall street for Decades. Take this: I went to the House of Justice (Kafar Nubbol ) today, to chase an allegation (974)I raised against a Security Branch in Idleb City. The Branch threatened my Dentist preventing him from treating me well, which harmed my Health and made me flee far away looking for a reliable Dentist, spending a lot of Time and Money. Until today, the Judge didn’t dare to call them and ask about what happened exactly! Lawyers suggest; it is better not to get involved.
To treat those Aspects carefully, we need a much more time and space than the one offered contextually. All in All, Syria has suffered so much under Hafez Al-assad. The richest Country in Arabia became so poor, weak and desperate. Living in Austria (Germany) for over 9 years, I felt a broad Sympathy to Arabic Ba’athism in the German Speaking Areas. National Socialism emerges and grows up there, where Conflicts and Tension arise (For more Analysis of these Topics read my Book “Dialectics of the Thought”). The Austrian Nazis had an extraordinarily good and secret relation to Hafez Assad.
One Iraqi told me weeks ago, that the Ba’athist Saddam Hussein did enslave Iraq too. Every one said Yes and Yes only (yes,Yeah , yes, Yeah,Yes Yeees,Yeah etc ).Why ? They want something for living …..

A Pre course
The Background:
Hafez Assad was Minister of Defense 1970, when he was asked to send some Legions to Jordan. He refused the commandment claiming that such decision must be democratically met. The Ba’ath Party called for a summit to (democratically) discuss whether the decision be approved by the Majority. So after they gathered Hafez Assad sent his men to imprison them all. Days later, the Coup Leader (Hafez Assad) declared himself as the eternal President of Syria, claiming that his Coup is a mere correctional Movement of the Ba’ath Track. He arrested Salah Jadid (The Party Head) and the Syrian President live long (Both have died in the prison), but never discussed their Arrest democratically or unilaterally since he took over. Later Assad built his Statues every where, making Syria almost a Pharaoh Paradise. We should just recognize the Fact, that the Difference between his largest Statue near Dair Attiyah and the great Pharaoh Statue (Ra’amssis the second) is 3 Meters only. Ra’amssis Statue is 20 Meters high, and remain standing in the Rock Sanctuary (Egypt). In every School, Fabric, Park, Garden, Military Building, and at every City and State Gate you view his Pictures and Statues sculptured dramatically. In every national and military Ballade his Name was present, and in every Friday Speech, the Imam had to mention his goodness and pray to the Lord to keep standing by him in his victorious epos, heroic and immovable Resistance. In the Elections, the People had to dance and take to the Street showing Loyalty and Love (A necessary formality for people to get a job and keep living in peace). I was a Soldier when he was lastly elected 2000. We were commanded to take to the main square, singing his Hymns, dancing and reciting the usual hypocritical quotations. 10 Days we had to stand under the rain, admiring his greatness and heroic Wars on Imperialism and Zionism. At the End of the Assad Caucasus and Solo Race, hypocritical Campaigns and lying manifestations, we stood in line chanting and stretching our Hands! Why? Simply to be prickled by a small and sharp Pin, in order to bleed and finger print our sacrificed Yes to Assad. The Protest that Aids and other Diseases might be transplanted by didn’t help. They prickled my Finger with a fresh Pin, expressing their welcome, and had to print my bleeding Finger on the right Color (Yes). At the End, Assad gained about 96 or 97% of the Votes (something like that). Even Dead People had elected him, to be the eternal President of the Country. Much more, Assad used to be declared as the Father of Sportsmen, Students, Teachers , Soldiers, Workers, Farmers etc. He always addressed them as Sons. in the Parliamentary Elections, only Assad’s Allies became candidates and approved. The Syrian Parliament had never said No to any of Assad Decisions. All his edicts were welcome and warmly approved. Students and Scholars, Teachers, Workers and Farmers had to demonstrate when ever Assad ask them to. They flowed to the Squares, filling out the Streets, carrying his Pictures and Flags, saying Yes, Simply Yes (Yeah if you want). People know, that when Assad Name be mentioned in any Context, an applause must follow. I was in the Military Prison of Palmyra when Assad died. We heard an Imam reading Koran Verses. Little later, we had to gather in the main Square, as the Prison Director appeared and said; Mr. President Hafez Al-Assad left us today, a great Applause was widely heard (the Soldiers are commanded to give applause when ever his Name be mentioned, some thought that he left in a trip some where).At this point he differs again from the old Monarchs and Pharaohs in which we didn’t have to get killed in order to accompany him to death. So thank you Mr. President (Some Hypocrites would say why not?).
At every national Holiday, Workers and Scholars, Teachers, Framers and Soldiers had to to sing his Name expressing their Yes (Oh Yeah, Yea Yeaah).
Questions: Was he a Ba’athist? NO. He killed, imprisoned and exiled even the Founders. Was he a Liberal? NO. Politically; individual rights and sovereignties Were always exposed to Torture, abusive Arrest and confiscation. Was he a democrat? NO. Elections were absolutely falsified. Was he a real Socialist? The Facts would say no to every question about him.
So what was our Assad really?
In those questions I would rather leave up to his Euro Sponsors. They know him better than we do. One thing we are confident about; he must be better than his Euro Sponsors, for they must have been directing and blackmailing him as well.
Between 1970 and 2000, the inflation grew to almost 1000%. His Brother Raf’at Al-Assad was the director of the Syrian Central Bank. Printing more Money for himself might be the Reason why the Inflation became so high. But an investigation about remain impossible, in so far Raf’at lives with his Money in Europe, claiming to be the champion of a new, democratic and free Syria. One thing we are confident about, Raf’at must be also cleaner than his Sponsors and Hosts. A Doctor and political Scientist, that has never read and well understood a single political Book.
Baschar Al-Assad (the Son and Successor of Hafez Al-Assad) pretended to be a Reformer, but his Reforms don’t seem to exceed his greedy Business Relatives. A great Monopoly became Syria Today. Politically; Elections remain a matter of Falsification, the Role of the Parliament remains paralyzed, the Security Forces are even more corrupt than before. A few positive Reforms have been met, but until now we can with a great Confidence speak of a dictatorial Baschar Al-Assad, about which a rich and explicit Comment will follow later (Oh Yeah). I encouraged his Reforms on the beginning, but today; I see in him a much more dangerous, hopeless and desperate Leadership. Some of his Arguments about Israel and the general international Middle Struggle might be right (but simply too little for a president), but in his relation to the local and most decisive interior questions we find neither legitimacy nor a good will.
